The Drain Plug’s cap is threaded to screw on and off, and when it’s screwed on, it dependably seals the cooler base to help maintain interior temperature and prevent drainage. The Threaded Cooler Drain Plug installs easily. Simply insert the end of the plug into the cooler’s drain opening and secure it with the provided gasketed nut. The threaded cap is retained by an integrated plastic tether, so when the cap is removed for drainage, the tether reliably holds onto the cap.
