8-Plait nylon is the ideal choice for anchor rode. Compared to traditional 3-strand nylon, the tensile strength is similar, but the multi-strand woven lay allows the rope to lay more compactly in the anchor locker. As a result, you have more rode available if needed. Our nylon rope and G4 high-test galvanized chain is hand spliced in the USA to operate smoothly in a windlass. In addition, the 8-plait design absorbs higher shock loads better when compared to 3-strand. Includes bucket and 5/16" shackle.
